PhotoHunt: painted

I'm back for this week's photo hunt. This week's theme is painted. This photo was taken in Cazorla, Spain. Above the town stands the imposing Moorish castle called Castillo La Yedra.

Locals call their town "Pueblo Blanco" or white village. Traditionally they painted their houses white. I am not sure of the reason behind this. But it is a tranquil, beautiful town.

Wow, looks like a quaint little village. Makes one wonder "why" do they paint all the buildings white. Something to check into,.. great photo, that's for sure.

What a beautiful picture. My wife lived in a Spain for a short time and was fortunate enough to visit many gorgeous little towns like this - I'm hoping to get there at some point myself.
