Awards
I was mentioned twice for this award today. Firstly, Moof for a special mention. Surprise, surprise, in the afternoon it was JMB who bestowed the honour of a Thinking Blogger Award – gold version.
Anyway, if I remember it right, I was given this last year and followed the link. Copying the code was a hurdle for me way back then. That’s how non-techie I am. So I decided to ignore it. Until today. C’mmon, nobody gets mentioned for the same award in a day!
Recipients of this award will likewise choose 5 bloggers who deserve this then link it here.
So, without further ado, I bequeath this award to the following deserving bloggers whose posts make me think. Whatever one defines ‘think’.
- Dr. Emer : Parallel Universes - His topics are well-researched and up to date.
- Snglguy : Inside the Mind of a Single Guy - A good writer with so much political passion one can’t ignore reading him everyday. He should run for the national election.
- BW : BW’s Warped Zone - Here’s another one who can discuss anything as well. Good topics.
- Major Tom : The Citizen on Mars - Another in my socio-political group worth reading. Good topics.
- Cathy : Arthritisrants - A survivor. I haven’t met anyone who blogged for 24 hours with only a few breaks in between. Yes, think if you can do it because she just did it last year. All in the name of Alzheimer sufferers. She took part under the Alzheimer’s Organization during the World Blogathon 2006. With her medical condition, she sacrificed for others. Great woman!
I would like to echo what JMB mentioned: "You can ignore this award as you will, no offence will be taken, just a mark of my esteem."
And in true Ipanema fashion, I won't tell them about this. They have ways of knowing. Ha! Congratulations!
I am so honored for this award specially coming from a thinking blogger yourself whom I patronize greatly. I felt like winning an Oscar for this...I think I can also have my five thinking bloggers later on...

Thanks for the link, ipanema. One of the good things about this is that I get to see other people's choices and find new interesting blogs to read. Now I have to say, So many blogs, so little time, in addition to So many books, so little time. Do you think it will become a T-shirt too?

Ipanema, Congratulations my sweet friend! You certainly deserve it and if you had not already gotten it, I would have surely given it to you..

No worries. Thanks for accepting the award. And yes you deserve it. I've been reading you since I started blogging. It's not only 10-50 posts that I take into consideration. It's the personality evoked by the blog author as well. You've given support to a group of people who have either one family member struck with Alzheimers. Now, that is beyond a thinking post! And for that, you deserve it. And you raised money for them! Very selfless act indeed. I should give you an Oscar but I doubt Dave will like another naked man displayed in your room...hahahaha.
They should have followed your comments on some med blogs. Ha! But that deserves another awarding ceremony...lol.

lol...I am only given 5 and I have a long list. If I have all the powers, I'd give it to those in my sidebar. I dont connect with sites I dont like.
Besides you, I still have Eric, Toe, Rey, verns, rolly, bing, among others.
That is what's good with us, Personal bloggers, we can talk anything under the sun!
We have our choice on how we blog. I just happen to personally think with those socio-political blogs. My personal rants I do on weekends.
